At the world premiere of Ti West’s X Earlier this year, he surprisingly revealed that he also teamed up with co-star Mia Goth to secretly shoot the movie Pearl, Introduction focuses on a character she played with aging makeup. Fans who watched West were given something to feel like a nostalgic throwback to ’70s cut-outs yet still bring contemporary sensibilities. Although the upcoming movie is a prequel, West quipped earlier this year that the movie will have a different tone than fans might expect.
“Part of the great idea of this movie for me is that there is something greater in everything. What can I tell you Pearl‘Cause we already did it and it’s over, is it pretty much a story about Pearl,” West shared disgusting. “So you will learn more about her. It is completely different from her style. X. You don’t need one without the other, but they enrich each other in a certain way. the way that X Influenced by, let’s say from 1970s horror, the independent film industry and Americana cinema, Pearl It is influenced by a completely different era of filmmaking.
